Docent Lead Historic Tours - Coming This Fall 2026

Three Distinctly Different In Person Tour Offerings:

1) The OG Downtown Tour:

Join us for a guided walking tour of Fullerton's Original Historic Downtown! Starting at the Fullerton Museum Center, located at the corner of Pomona and Wilshire, this two-hour adventure will take you to notable stops like the Transportation, Villa del Sol, the Fox Theater, and Fullerton Union High School. Discover the rich history and unique architecture that make our downtown truly special. Don't miss this opportunity to explore and learn about the heart of Fullerton!

2) The Township West Tour:

Join us for an exciting brand new tour route! Experience Fullerton's Historic Downtown as we move West on Commonwealth. This guided journey uncovers insights and history often overlooked in other tours. Over the course of two hours, you'll visit notable stops including the Transportation Center, Police Station, Amerige Brothers Real Estate Office and Amerige Park. Don't miss this chance to explore rich history and vibrant culture of Fullerton!

3) The Hillcrest Park Tour:

Explore Hillcrest Park, one of the few municipal open spaces proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Discover the rich history of this beautiful park, created by the City of Fullerton. Join us to see the stunning Hillcrest Stairs, the poignant WWI memorial, the Isaac Walton house, and all the recent upgrades that have enhanced this wonderful space. Don't miss the opportunity to connect with nature and history in this remarkable setting!

Tour Info:

- FREE for Members in good standing and $5.00 for Non-Members.  

- Reserve and pay below or cash or check can be paid day of tour, membership can also be joined day of tour.

- Plan to be out for about 2 hours.

- Wear comfortable shoes, bring hat and water is recommended. 

- The route is flat, except for the Hillcrest Park tour is hilly and has stairs.
